Since February 2024, the Local Population Studies Society (LPSS) has published a monthly News-Sheet containing the latest news of interest to members.

Newsletters
Until April 2023, as well as the Journal, members of the Local Population Studies Society received a copy of a Newsletter twice a year. This contained shorter research notes from members about work in progress, as well as updates on news that might be of interest. Members were invited to raise queries about their own research, which other members might be able to help with, or to send in letters for publication.
You will find an archive of old Newsletters at the links below. For some members, this might bring back memories of projects gone by. It is also a valuable archive of the history of the discipline of local population history as it has evolved over a few decades.
